Carly Lies Again!

When Carly is caught in a corner, a lying corner and one where there is no escape hatch, she merely denies any knowledge of the question at hand.  I find it very hard to believe that the same woman who has memorized every candidates resume, background, and childhood phobias would let something as major as Wholesaler of the Year get past her.  She is clearly lying on this one and it will snap back and bite her if it already hasn’t.

Chris Wallace and Carly Exchange:

Wallace, “Finally, there’s a question that some of your rivals have brought up, and that is Iran.” Wallace said. “At the time you were head of HP, there was a ban on any U.S. companies doing business with Iran. But while you were the head of the company, a European subsidiary of HP sold hundreds of millions of dollars of computer equipment to Iran.”

“The SEC ended up investigating HP for what it said was violation of the sanctions against Iran,” he continued. “How do you respond to that?”

Carly responded, “HP was larger than each of the 50 states. It’s a larger budget than any one of our 50 states and a global enterprise. And so it’s impossible to ensure nothing wrong ever happened, the question is what do you do when you find out?”

Wallace, “Are you saying you didn’t know about it?”

Carly, “In fact, the SEC investigation proved that neither I nor anyone else in management knew about it…” she insisted. “When the company discovered this three years after I left, they cut off all ties. The SEC investigated very thoroughly and concluded that no one in management was aware.”

So far it sounds like Carly did more things to screw Hewlett Packard than they even knew about.  But, that’s my observation.

Wallace, “At the time, that company that was making the sales to Iran– and you were the CEO of HP at the time– was named HP’s wholesaler of the year… HP was calling it the wholesaler of the year, and you didn’t know what was going on?”

Carly, “The wholesaler of the year you were describing was doing business with another company that was doing business with Iran,” Fiorina defended herself. “Clearly that wholesaler of the year was not honest in their dealings with us…”

So, there you go folks….she did know.  She obviously thought it was a good strategy and never let the board members have any privy to the information.  Carly has a reputation for underhanded practices.  She meets the criteria of a sociopathic boss in the work place.  Google it.  She fits it to a tee. (see video on link below).

  1. So is Carly stating that since HP had a larger budget than any of the 50 states it was impossible for her to know or do anything about where money was coming or going from? As CEO she surely looked at budget sheets and cash flow performa’s. So if she is saying it was impossible for her to know what HP was doing?? Why should anyone think she can be head of all 50 nations? She just admitted that she could not run the highest office in the land. Tell her to bow out. Take Walker’s lead now or pay the consequences as all her lies come forth.
